Philip Niedermair

Managing Director of Alliances and Development

Philip Niedermair is Ward & Berry’s Managing Director of Alliances and Development, a role to which he brings over 35 years of experience in helping companies expand their potential through corporate development, strategic alignment, and relationship building. Philip’s extensive business network and experience in the National Security Sector consistently adds value for Ward & Berry’s clients.

In addition to his role at Ward & Berry, Philip is a Member of the Board of Directors of National Cyber Group (NCG) and Chair of its Board of Advisors.  He is a Senior Advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission and serves as Board member for Nsion, Occamsec, and Platform Aerospace. Philip is also Director of Alliances at LPFIRSTCAPITAL.

Philip acts as an advisor to (and/or sits on boards of) several other organizations, including: Gula Tech Foundation, Squadra Ventures, the Army Cyber Institute at West Point, The Industry Round Table of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, DEA Education Foundation, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and Historic Ships of Baltimore. Previously, he formally advised the Eisenhower Memorial Presidential Commission and National Law Enforcement Officers Museum. 

Over the course of his career, Philip has worked in almost every State, in over 40 countries, and managed several significant global programs as a Staff Consultant for clients such as Coca-Cola, MasterCard, UPS and Citibank. 

Philip was recently inducted into the Military Cyber Professionals Association’s Order of Thor. This Award recognizes great services and contributions in the American military cyber community.
