Aaron Jackson

Aaron’s practice focuses on helping individuals and companies navigate the complex world of federal government engagement, with expertise in Government Contracts, Bid Protests, U.S. Export Controls, Internal Investigations and Audits, Dispute Resolution, Regulatory Compliance, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity, and National Security Law and Policy. As a former military officer and federal attorney with over 20 years of service in the Department of Defense, Aaron remains deeply committed to the Defense and National Security communities, leveraging his extensive “inside” experience to advise government and defense contractors of all sizes.
Aaron is a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and spent several years in operational and contracting roles before transitioning to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Throughout his military career, Aaron served as a federal prosecutor and defense counsel, government contracts attorney, law professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy, counsel at the Pentagon, and legal leader of offices across the globe. He is an experienced litigator and dispute resolution specialist, having led dozens of federal trials and administrative hearings, supported hundreds of investigations, and advised on thousands of domestic and international matters.
During his final military deployment, Aaron served as General Counsel at an undisclosed location in the Middle East, supporting the Air Force’s most active fighter unit engaged in Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. At the Pentagon, he provided legal oversight for more than 100 investigations as counsel to the Air Force Inspector General and later served as lead counsel for the U.S. Space Force Planning Task Force, earning “Outstanding Performer” recognition from the Secretary of the Air Force for his contributions to the historic launch of the United States Space Force. His final military assignment was as General Counsel for a premier Air Force Special Operations organization supporting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at sixteen locations worldwide.
Aaron is also dedicated to developing future leaders, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University School of Law and volunteering as an Ambassador for The Honor Foundation, a nonprofit supporting the transition of Special Operations personnel to the civilian sector. He is a passionate advocate, servant leader, and committed attorney, ready to assist clients with a wide range of complex legal matters.
